Resilient Lady launched in May 2023 and has been Virgin's most-traveled ship since. Summers in the Mediterranean from Piraeus (Athens) with overnights in Mykonos and Dubrovnik. Winters in the Caribbean. The occasional UK and Northern Europe run. And in 2027, the longest itinerary in the fleet: a Mediterranean-to-Miami transatlantic. She's also part of Virgin's 2026 biofuel pilot, running on used cooking oil for a portion of the season.

The other Ladies
Designed by hotel people. Built by Fincantieri.
Most cruise ships are built from a catalog: marble-effect veneer, stamped-brass railings, the same drop-ceiling everywhere. Virgin did the opposite. They hired Roman & Williams (the studio behind Ace Hotel NYC and Le Coucou) for the public spaces, Concrete Amsterdam (W Hotels) for The Manor nightclub, Tom Dixon for The Wake, and Softroom for the cabins. The result is a 1,400-cabin ship that reads more like a boutique hotel chain than a floating mall.
Resilient was built at Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente yard in Genoa, the same shipyard that builds for Seabourn, Silversea, and the smaller Holland America fleet. She's the third of the Ladies, with the same interior pedigree as Scarlet and Valiant but newer engines, which is why she was picked for the 2026 biofuel pilot. More on the design philosophy.
The greenest Lady, and the most-traveled.
Resilient Lady is the ship VV picked for the 2026 biofuel pilot. For a portion of the season she's running on used cooking oil instead of standard marine fuel, the first sustained alternative-fuel test in the fleet. The newer-generation engines on Resilient are what made her the right candidate.
She's also the only Lady that genuinely moves: Greek Isles and the Adriatic in summer, Caribbean in winter, occasional UK shoulder seasons, and the 2027 Med-to-Miami transatlantic, the longest voyage in the fleet.
Dining-wise she runs the standard Razzle Dazzle evening service (no new concept here, the vegetarian-forward bistro by day and the marquee drag brunch on sea days). The rest of the lineup is the shared VV core that runs on every Lady: The Wake (Tom Dixon's steakhouse), Pink Agave (modern Mexican), Test Kitchen (chef's-counter tasting), Extra Virgin (Italian, which lands differently when you're docked in Naples), Gunbae (Korean BBQ at communal tables), and The Galley (the daytime food hall with seven counters). Plus The Manor nightclub, the Sun Club, Aquatic Club, Redemption Spa, the Athletic Club, and the open-air running track on deck 16. Resilient Lady is the moving Lady. Mediterranean summers, May through October, from Piraeus (Athens's port). Caribbean winters, November through April, usually from Miami or San Juan. And in some years, a UK and Northern Europe shoulder season from Portsmouth.
For 2027, Virgin is running a 14-night transatlantic from the Mediterranean to Miami on Resilient, the longest single voyage in the fleet. She's also the ship Virgin chose for their 2026 biofuel pilot, partly because of newer-generation engines.
