What we collect

When you submit the Plan My Voyage form, we collect your name, email, phone (if you provide it), party size, travel preferences, budget, and any notes you add. We use that information for one purpose: to respond to you about a potential Virgin Voyages booking. We do not sell or share it.

When you visit any page on this site, we count the visit via Plausible Analytics (opens in a new tab), a privacy-first analytics tool hosted in the EU. Plausible records aggregate page views, referring URL, country, and device class. It does not set cookies, does not use fingerprinting, does not collect personal data, and does not share data with third parties. There is no individual visitor identifier created or stored.

What happens when you book

If you click any of our Virgin Voyages booking links, you are transferred to virginvoyages.com to complete your booking. Once you're on Virgin Voyages' site, their privacy policy and cookies apply. We do not see your booking details until and unless Virgin Voyages reports the booking to us as our First Mate-credited booking, at which point we receive your name, voyage details, and confirmation number from VV.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to delete any information you've shared with us. Email hello@chartmyvoyage.com and we'll confirm deletion within 30 days. If you're a California resident, the rights described in the CCPA apply; if you're an EU/UK resident, GDPR rights apply. The simplest path is just to email us, we don't gatekeep this with a form.

Cookies

This site does not set any first-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or behavioral ad targeting on this site.

The site is served behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a session-only functional cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish humans from bots and protect the site from abuse. It's not used for tracking and expires when you close your browser. Cloudflare's cookie policy (opens in a new tab) covers the details.

You can clear or block any cookies in your browser without losing functionality on this site.
